After days of heavy rain the weather GODS smiled on us,it was cloudy with no rain. The AudiSport clan met at the Assagay Country Hotel Parking area.

We had a good turn out with 10 clean and shiny Audi's, little did they realise that minutes later they would be crossing a low lying bridge with water flowing over it :(

The run took the Audi's along twisty roads and sharp bends with awesome views and uncharted territory for 98% of the members.

Ruben made a grand entrance with the stunning red TT Roadster, man this car just looks the part, ready to cruise the 100 kilometres of mystery run in style, top down and no rain..

A Drivers meeting was held and the rules explained - let the fun begin ..

Deepesh and Ved the navigator, were the first to leave @ 10:10 in the black Sportback.

Members left the starting point with a 5 minute gap between each car.

The route sheets also had different questions just to confuse the drivers and navigators with no help from the car ahead of you as the questions were different ....

At 11:34 the first member to arrive at the lunch venue was none other than Deepesh, followed closely by Andrew who got confused by seeing the photographer sitting at the side of the road. Slowly members arrived one by one at the lunch venue.

What made it interesting is that you had to drive PAST the venue and continue for an extra 5 kilometres and then double back to the venue

U could hear the unique Audi growl as they drove past the venue and up a steep hill disappearing over the top, only to return some 5 minutes later.

Everybody appeared to have enjoyed the event and apologies to the navigators that got motion sickness, but boys will be boys and the competitiveness was at an extreme high ... Twisty roads + Audi = BIG smiles
