Breakfast Run to the Wartburger Hof

After a very successful time trails the AudiSport family were ready for a Breakfast run to somewhere and that is exactly what we did. The venue was the Wartburger Hof in Wartburg, BUT Thierry AKA Speedcop, took the family on safari going through some uncharted territory and roads that kinda run up their own tailpipes. This was NOT a high speed run but rather a slow cruise and enjoy the curves and everything along the way. We had an awesome day as the rain had stayed away during this run |

First to arrive at our usual meeting spot was our own in-house minister of Justice, the main man TC. One by one everybody arrived. This was a run to be remembered and the road to the venue was awesome, one corner led into another corner fortunately we had a safety Bakkie in front of the Audi Train most of the way, just as well, because who knows how often QUATTRO and ABS would have come to the rescue :) |

We regrouped once off the motorway and asked all the drivers to stick to the Audi in front of them, as getting lost in the valley was not an option. Let the drive begin, and what a drive it was --- great and different. We drove through some awesome country side and all this right on our doorstep .... |

Taking pictures whilst driving on the twisties was difficult but we managed to get some .... So sit back and enjoy the journey with AudiSport SA to the Wartburger Hof. We took a totally different route and different it sure was .. |

We arrived at the Hof and was met by Chantelle and Johan, who came through from Pietermaritzburg. They had the boring drive, whilst we had the best drive to date to any venue We had the best seats in the house for our babies right in front of the hotel as well. Good company and an Audi, what more could we ask for ???? |

Breakfast was done and before farewells were said, Arul called a rollcall for a drivers portrait before we all departed back to the city using the motorway, How boring is this trip going home, going to be? |

AudiSport SA welcomes Baby Matthew and we trust that his parents Andrew and Renee will bring him up the Audi way. Congratulations to Manie and Jenny on their new DTM, when is the chip coming. Moses and family, our visitors in the Land Rover welcome and trust u enjoyed the outing with us, hope to see you again .. |
